The Town of Spanish contracts all animal control and shelter services to Rainbow District Animal Control and Shelter Services in Azilda, Ontario. The Town of Spanish requires all dogs and cats to be licensed. All renewals are due annually by February 15th. The fees are as follows:

Rainbow District Animal Control and Shelter Services is responsible for stray or nuisance dogs and cats and their owners.
Please call to report roaming dogs, if you have found a dog or cat, or to report anyone who is allowing their dog or cat to be a nuisance to others.
